Bed Buddy Report | Findings |

Nest Bedding is one of the first direct-to-consumer companies to sell bed-in-a-box mattresses. With a lineup of six different beds, Nest mattresses are made with every different sleeper in mind.

The comfort layer of the Alexander Signature Hybrid features four components: a top layer of 4 PCF memory foam, a second layer of quilted 3.5 PCF polyfoam, a third layer of copper-infused 3.5 PCF gel polyfoam, and a bottom layer of 1.8 PCF transitional polyfoam. The support core is designed zoned pocket coils, and the cover is made of rayon and polyester. The Alexander Signature Hybrid is available in three firmness options: Plush, Medium, and Luxury Firm.

All of their models are available in multiple comfort (firmness) options, and with two memory foam beds, three hybrid builds, and one latex, you’ll be able to find the feel and support that works best for you. So, no matter if you’re lighter, heavier, sleep on your side, or you deal with chronic pain, Nest can fit your preferences on at least one of their beds.

What Type of Sleeper Is Best Suited for a Nest Bedding Mattress?

Based on my customer feedback, Nest Bedding mattresses have received the following grades among sleepers of different weights and preferred sleep positions. Please note that these ratings are subjective, and that everyone has varying experiences on different mattresses. Sleeper comfort and spinal support are the most important factors when it comes to selecting a mattress.

For more information on sleeping positions please see my guides for side, back, stomach and combination sleepers.

Our testing process found the Nest Bedding Mattress should also be great for you if…

  • You share a bed with a partner but don’t want to feel them move around at night.
  • You want a mattress that contours to curves and eliminates pressure in your shoulders, hips, and lower back.

We’re your Bed Buddy!!

Our mission is a simple one: We want to help you get incredible sleep, like a good sleep buddy should. And how you might ask? By not only conducting extensive research into the subject itself, but by personally testing out the thousands of mattresses on the market that claim to improve the quality of your slumber.

We really sleep on our mattress research by testing each for at least a hundred sleeps! We do not just compare features like review blogs, nor collate others’ online reviews, nor do a brief test of one to seven nights. No, our research includes a one hundred consecutive sleep test, so we can say, ‘Yup, this is what we found, because we really slept on it!’

We have no affiliation with the companies we feature, and any advertisements that appear on this website not at our discretion. They are there to keep the slumber party going. The Bed Buddy team takes incredible pride in the work we do. We hope that the reviews, news, and sleep information can help you on your personal journey for better sleep. And the job is fun – it’s not all naps! … sometimes… We love creating content that you enjoy, whether it’s on our site, or our newsletter, which you should sign up for.
