Bed Buddy Report | Findings |
Leesa offers a universal comfort, mixed foam mattress that comes in at about a 5 on the firmness scale. The mattress features comfort layers of LSA200 polyfoam and memory foam, along with a supportive base layer made of high-density polyfoam.
My review of the Leesa Mattress found the fast recovering comfort system worked well to both alleviate pressure points and give sleepers less sinkage than traditional memory foam mattresses. Using standard density foams similar to comparable bed-in-a-box brands like Casper, Nolah, Tuft and Needle, etc, we expect this mattress to be durable enough to last at least 6-7 years with nightly use.
I think it’s a solid offering at a very reasonable price point and were equally impressed with Leesa’s commitment to giving back with their 1/10 mattress donation program and on-going charity work.
What Type of Sleeper Is Best Suited for a Leesa Mattress?
Based on my customer feedback data, Leesa mattresses received the following grades among sleepers of different weights and preferred sleep positions. Please note that these ratings are subjective, and that everyone has varying experiences on different mattresses. Sleeper comfort and spinal support are the most important factors when it comes to selecting a mattress.
My testing process found the Leesa should also be great for you if…
- You suffer from back pain and weigh less than 230lbs. Especially, if you need more mid-back support.
- You like a feeling somewhere in between floating on top of your mattress and sinking into your mattress.
- You prefer to buy from a company that has a charitable arm of the business
