All the details

7.5 (Firm)

Durability 4 – Latex hybrids have relatively long expected lifespans, and the Bloom Hybrid is no exception; owners can expect to use the mattress for at least seven to eight years.
Motion Isolation 4 – With a 3″ latex comfort layer, the Bloom Hybrid absorbs and isolates motion better than most competing hybrid models.
Off-gassing 4 – Odor potential is minimal with the Bloom Hybrid, as is often the case with latex hybrids.
Conforming 3 – The Bloom Hybrid offers close conforming and good pressure relief; three firmness options allow buyers to select a comfort setting that works best for them.
Sex 3 – The Bloom Hybrid is fairly bouncy and responsive enough for sex, especially in firmer settings.
Temperature Neutrality 4 – The Bloom Hybrid sleeps very cool due to its cotton and wool cover, latex comfort layer, and good air circulation throughout the coil support core.
Edge Support 4 – The Bloom Hybrid’s pocketed coils and high-density foam base reinforce the sleep surface well to provide strong edge support and minimize sinkage around the perimeter.
Noise 3 – Although the pocketed coils may squeak and creak to a degree, the Bloom Hybrid is fairly quiet.

Bed Buddy Report |Findings |

Brooklyn Bedding currently offers six individual mattress models as well.  The Brooklyn Bloom Hybrid is a latex hybrid with a 12″ profile. Its cover is made from a blend of organic cotton and Joma wool, while the comfort layer contains 3″ of Talalay latex. These materials, along with the pocketed coils, allow the mattress to sleep exceptionally cool. This mattress is available in ‘Soft,’ ‘Medium,’ and ‘Firm’ settings.

Brooklyn Bedding offers a wide selection of mattresses in terms of composition, firmness, thickness, and price-point.

What Type of Sleeper Is Best Suited for a Brooklyn Bedding Mattress?

Based on my customer feedback, the Brooklyn Bedding mattresses have received the following grades among sleepers of different weights and preferred sleep positions. Please note that these ratings are subjective, and that everyone has varying experiences on different mattresses. Sleeper comfort and spinal support are the most important factors when it comes to selecting a mattress.

My testing process found the Brooklyn Bedding line should also be great for you if…

  • You tend to sleep hot
  • You want a mattress that balances conforming and responsiveness
  • You prefer beds that are thicker than average

We’re your Bed Buddy!!

Our mission is a simple one: We want to help you get incredible sleep, like a good sleep buddy should. And how you might ask? By not only conducting extensive research into the subject itself, but by personally testing out the thousands of mattresses on the market that claim to improve the quality of your slumber.

We really sleep on our mattress research by testing each for at least a hundred sleeps! We do not just compare features like review blogs, nor collate others’ online reviews, nor do a brief test of one to seven nights. No, our research includes a one hundred consecutive sleep test, so we can say, ‘Yup, this is what we found, because we really slept on it!’

We have no affiliation with the companies we feature, and any advertisements that appear on this website not at our discretion. They are there to keep the slumber party going. The Bed Buddy team takes incredible pride in the work we do. We hope that the reviews, news, and sleep information can help you on your personal journey for better sleep. And the job is fun – it’s not all naps! … sometimes… We love creating content that you enjoy, whether it’s on our site, or our newsletter, which you should sign up for.
